Does it smell like beef?
No, it has a very mild, natural scent. The essential oils give it a light fragrance, while the unscented version has a subtle, buttery smell.

Will it feel greasy on my skin?
It may feel rich at first, but it absorbs well when used in small amounts. A little goes a long way.

Will it clog pores?
Tallow is generally considered low on the comedogenic scale (around 2/5), meaning it works well for most skin types. However, everyone’s skin is different — if you’re acne-prone, we recommend starting with a small amount and patch testing first.

What skin types is it suitable for?
Ideal for dry, sensitive, or irritated skin, or just an everyday moisturiser.

How do I use it?
Apply a small amount to clean skin and gently massage in. Start with less, you can always add more.

How often should I use it?
Once or twice daily, depending on your skin’s needs.
